Effective August 20, 2026
Muse (“we”, “us”), operated by SnipitFM Inc, helps you generate AI styled outfit images from a photo, preview shopping finds, save looks, and test beta checkout flows. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Muse may create an anonymous app account so your style profile, subscription status, saved sessions, and account deletion request can be tied to your app installation.
For this policy, “face data” means the facial imagery and likeness visible in any image you select that contains a face, including a selfie, an uploaded or selected reference image, and a generated virtual try-on. We process this face data only to create, refine, and show you virtual try-ons and saved looks. Muse does not create or store faceprints, facial-recognition templates, facial geometry, or other biometric identifiers. We do not use face data to identify, authenticate, or recognize a person.
Before the first AI request, Muse presents a consent screen that names Google Gemini API (Google LLC), identifies the images and styling details that will be sent, and requires the user to confirm they are the person in each submitted selfie or have permission to use the selected images. Muse will not send face data to Google Gemini unless that consent has been recorded for the account.
Your photos, generated images, profile details, and notes are sent to our server and processed to (1) generate styled outfit images, (2) preview selected items on your photo, (3) save and restore your look history, and (4) find similar shoppable products. Checkout data is used to test order intake and fulfillment workflows. We use these third-party services to do this:
To create a virtual try-on, we send Google Gemini API (Google LLC) the selfie or other selected image that contains the face, any selected outfit, product, or try-on reference image, and the styling details or notes needed for the request. Google Gemini returns the generated try-on image to Muse. We do not sell face data or share it with advertising networks.
We store the selfie and generated try-on image in Supabase cloud storage in a private, account-scoped storage bucket so you can revisit your saved looks. We store the associated account and session records in Supabase’s database. Google may temporarily retain the transmitted images, prompt, and generated response under Google’s applicable terms for the Gemini API. We do not control Google’s separate retention period or have access to its temporary service logs. Face images are not included in Muse analytics events or Sentry diagnostics; Sentry diagnostics are configured to remove request bodies.
We store the account, profile, session, selfie, source-photo, and generated-image data needed to provide saved history, lookbook, refinement, sharing, and try-on features. This can include selfies and generated outfit images stored in Supabase cloud storage. Your stored Muse account data, including face data, is deleted when you delete your Muse account in the app. We retain face data in our active systems until you delete your Muse account in the app. When you delete your account, Muse deletes the stored image objects before deleting the account record. Account deletion removes your stored selfie, generated images, saved sessions, style profile, and account from our active systems. The limited records we may keep for legal, security, subscription, dispute, or beta order-support reasons do not include stored face images. Order records are retained as needed to operate, audit, and support the beta order workflow. Third-party providers may process and temporarily retain data per their own policies.
We do not sell your data. We share data only with the service providers listed above, solely to deliver, protect, measure, and support the app’s features.
You control which photos you share. iOS will ask permission before the app uses your camera or photo library. You can revoke these anytime in iOS Settings.
You can request account deletion in the app settings. Account deletion removes your Muse account, style profile, saved sessions, and associated stored media from our active systems. You can also contact us at the email below for privacy requests.
Muse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above.
